I grew up on horror. I was reading Stephen King at 11. I can watch gore horror like SAW and Hostel without even being remotely phased. Pennywise is kinda cute. I have zombie “nightmares” where literally everyone else on the planet is dead, aside from myself and handful of people and I love them. I have fallen asleep during hour 3 of the 6 hour Shining miniseries, woken up when Jack is stalking the house, covered in blood and insane, trying to kill Danny, and fallen asleep again in the middle of it. Point is, I don’t scare easily. I have considered that there might be something pathologically wrong with me.

This fucking mod though.
The eerie suspense.
The fact you don’t know when they’re going to move.
The way you can see their shadows moving when your back is turned.
Trying to figure out a puzzle while they’re at your neck.
The fact that VATS doesn’t work and in VATS they don’t even have names.
And then, in the wasteland (or anywhere else for that matter), that crinkle of broken glass signifying that they’re coming again.

I had to play it in bits over the course of a few days, because I was getting so tense I was giving myself literal migraines. I’d have to get up and go look at kittens, or get a hug, or something, anything, just to get out of the head space.

10/10 Flawlessly made. Absolutely perfect. Would recommend to anyone.
