Torchlight II game is really REALLY fun. I initially thought that it was going to be like Diablo, which, though fun, was a little disappointing. I felt Diablo was short. And too easy. I was a noob, and I creamed it on the hardest setting.
I’ve been traipsing around Torchlight II for two weeks now, and I’m nowhere near finished, as far as I can tell. Also, I HAVE A BADGER FOR A PET. A BADGER. I, of course, have named it Honey.
I love how, when you pick up crappy loot that you don’t want, you can chuck it into your pet’s bag. I LOVE that you can send your pet to go pick up loot for you. My favourite pet perk is that you can sent your pet back to town to get you potions and sell your garbage!
I love the different types of items that you can get, and how some of them are parts of sets, so if you wear them together, you can get get extra perks! I also love the gear design. The modeling, the image maps, the particles.
I really enjoy that there is a main storyline, but there are also random side quests. There are special chests that you have to find keys for. There are hidden paths off the core map. There are so many dungeons! There are all sorts of little hidden things. There is a LOAD of fun here.
I like the difficulty. I’m a noob, so sometimes I die! Y’all know I love my caster classes, but even as the hyper powered Embermage, I’m still not OP. I still die. That’s important. If you can just cakewalk through a game, why bother!
All in all, I give this game an 8/10. Yay arbitrary numbers! Would recommend! Would Play Again!
