I wish I could stop hearing about him. I’m not American; I’m Canadian. He literally isn’t my President. That being said, I’m equally glad Hillary isn’t either. Were I American, I’d have voted for anyone but either of them.

Did I march in the Women’s March? HELL NO. Firstly, I wasn’t in a location that held a march. Secondly, had I been in a location with a march I’d have avoided it like the bubonic plague. I’m not going to protest something I cannot do anything about. I couldn’t vote for/against Trump, so why would my marching make one iota of a difference? Do I believe in women’s rights? Hell yes! Do I believe non-Americans marching in non-America will affect what happens in America? Nope.

I know I’ll be called jaded or terribly ignorant or blind or whatever, but I’m so sick of this topic. All anyone has talked about for well over a year is Trump. I just do not care anymore.

God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.

I’m not in AA but I still find wisdom in this. I have accepted the fact that the Americans elected Trump, because I know the difference between what I can and can’t change. I have enough things going on in my life to worry about without getting hyped up over stuff that I can’t change. I just can’t care about Trump.

Please don’t hate me.
